PassportBox is building programmatic API access for developers who need to automate passport creation and product management at scale. Here is what is available today and what is coming.
API key management
API key management is available on the Enterprise plan. You can create and revoke keys from the dashboard under Dashboard → Developer.
Create a key: Go to Dashboard → Developer → API Keys and click New key. Give it a descriptive name and copy the key immediately — it is shown only once.
Revoke a key: Click Revoke next to any key to invalidate it immediately. Revoked keys cannot be restored.
API key management requires the Enterprise plan. Learn about plans.
Programmatic API access — roadmap
API keys do not yet authenticate API requests. Full programmatic API access — REST endpoints, authentication via key, and webhooks — is on the product roadmap and not yet generally available.

Automation options available today
While the programmatic API is in development, two integration paths are available for automating product and passport workflows:
Shopify integration
Connect your Shopify store to import your product catalogue and sync passport data back as metafields — no manual CSV work required.
